Welcome to SaabCentral
Interior swaps are not too much grief. Main thing is the bodywork and mechanical side is in good condition. Any scrapyards near you? If so, go pull out an interior. Buy a Bentley manual, and pick up a Haynes for pennies on EBay.

Be careful with your transmission. I see that yours is in great condition, but that doesn't chage the fact that many people find the design itself to be weak.
I just bought my 86 SPG a few weeks ago and love it (even if the APC is giving me grief). But they all come with a gremlin. Start working on your gremlins and pray you don't have an evil gremlin.

Problem with saab is they always upgrade the engine and forget the tranny. Same with the old 96 V4...
The C900 transmission is perfectly fine for the 118 or so HP it was designed for, but not so hot with the torque of a turbo. Still the 150K you might get out of it is still better than some cars..... |
