Default Volvo C30

What do you guys think of this car? I love it. I have owned three VW Golf/GTI's in the past. This is what the MKV Golf should of looked like. This is only the concept. The front end will look just like the current S40/V50/C70.

I like how the rear looks like the P1800. I think it will fair well against the Golf V, BMW 1 series, Mini, and Mercedes A class.

But it's an "OVLOV" boo hiss , I think the back end looks like that on the 480 from the 80's

I think it looks better from the back. Actually now that I think about it, the back could be tailored to accept head lights, and become the front. They change the fin into a shade, square the old front and add tail lights.
So they got it backwards. IMHO

OK seriously, I would like it, if it were backwards. Really. Other than that it's close to a mini retro van. They aught to get another design house. Just because their thumbs are opposable, it doesn't mean anything.

The ans comes back: "A pile of Stuff"

I like the concept front better than the S40/V50 front....I still think the S40/V50 looks like a S60 with Downs Syndrome or something...

And if it drives like the S40...I'd avoid it like the plague.

But kudos to Volvo for doing something different. They still aren't as good as the old 240's though.

Default Hey....I had a 480Turbo!!

Fast(ish) but one of the most uncomfortable cars I have ever driven!!

Back to the concept

I Love the back of that Volvo, however I have two small issues,

1. The nose is MILES to big, its like the automotive version of "Jordan", way to much going on up front.

2. The side reminds me too much of a Fiat Bravo, or Stilo.

The interior is very nice tho.

It should be a good car. It must be based on the new Mazda 3 and Focus chassie. The interor is very ford like. I guess everyone is going with the stainless gauge bezels. I wonder what the cost is compared to an SVT? IMO the best looking Volvo is the new hardtop convertable. When SAAB makes one sign me up.
