I'm sure this has been posted about a million times, but I can't seem to find a straight answer on it. I have a 2002 Saab 9-5 and I want to put a wired fm modulator in it. I just bought a Harman Kardon Drive and Play for my iPod and it works pretty good except, I had circuit city install it (im sure you're all cringing at the sounds of those two words) and they told me that they couldn't install the wired fm modulator because they could not get to the antenna port. Is this entirely true... or are they just stupid or lazy. Would it be easy enough that I could do it myself?

Maybe I am searching wrong, but 2nd nite and no luck.
If I add a Drive+Play (which are extraordinarily cheap nowadays, ~$50-$60) where is the antenna connector for a 9-5 '03 Aero? Believe on what I read is a AS3 system...? Any help, or point to a link of where the antenna connector is for a modulator antenna connection? Thanks! |

Its on the back of the head unit. http://photo.platonoff.com/Auto/2006...-5_Line_Input/
That may help you get to it. I assume the drive and play has an inline adaptor, hopefully it isnt too big as the attachment in the stereo cage is quite tight and you may have to file it out. Good luck |
