Default Headlight Problem

I have read all the headlight threads and have tried everything with no luck. Here's what happened and what I've done.

I have a 1999 9-3SE Convertible:

First the left high beam light did not work, I replaced the bulb and it still didn't work. I left it since I don't use high beams very often.

Then the entire left headlight went out. I tried another bulb no luck. I checked all the fuses, no luck. I spoke with my Saab Technician and he thought it was the Lamp Control Relay also know as the Bulb Check Relay. After $144, it still doesn't work.

However, when I was jiggling the Lamp Control Relay (the big orange relay) I was able to get the left high beam to work, that's right the HIGH BEAM and now the left LOW BEAM doesn't work.

I tried the paperclip trick of conecting 56b to 56bL and 56bR. The right lowbeam headlight worked the left did not.

The high beam blue light on the dash works and I get a SID warning about a front light failure. If I jiggle the relay until the left high beam light doesn't work, then the blue dash light doesn't and I don't get a SID warning.

Okay, "I think" there is a loose connection with Lamp Control Relay where the female end connects to the car's wiring in the Fuse/Relay Box where all these fuses and relay's are located. I don't know the name of the part. Anybody ever have to replace the Fuse/Relay Box?

Anybody have any other ideas?

I have spent countless hours, $144, and 4 months without a left headlight. The fog lights work, so I have 3 lights, the two fog lights and the right head light.

Sorry for the long thread, I just wanted to be thorough so nobody would think me an idiot.
