well the friend's aero just had the transmission computer reprogrammed to resolve the revving without going anywhere while in drive. now when shifted into drive, it sits for awhile and then suddenly catches into gear with a loud "clunk" and a jerk. im assuming that the computer was programmed wrong. probably should be takin back in, right?

Yeah I notice with my 9-5 which is automatic, everytime I come to a complete stop and the car gears down, I hear a click. If I try to accelerate before the click the car seems to jerk. It's been doing this for a long time. I just did an ATF flush and fill yesterday and it still does that. What could that possibly be?

O_O itd better not be the trans. there was the recall issue with it revving without going anywhere while in gear. this pause before engaging drive just now started after the computer was reprogrammed ot get rid of the other issue. i dont think anything was done to the trans itself so that cant be the problem.
