last friday snow storm pics

Heres some pics of last fridays snow storm when it was snowing 2-4 inches per hour the pics were when it started to slow down. They were taken were I work.The total amount there was 14inches.

We're due to get dumped on through the rest of the day and into tomorrow ... it remains to be seen whether I will be working from the office or home ...

Yes and I drove home from in town Boston via mass pike west in this mid afternoon. I wish I had the saab, but we were in my buddies 325 vert. He had never driver in snow like this so I drove it. Pretty scary.

They arent working? I viewed them from a friends house and they worked fine.

I can see the pics just fine.

Ha, that storm last week... my car got plowed in. I didn't bother clearing it off. Just got in, backed out, drove over the massive pile of snow at the end of the driveway... God I love my Saab.

We got around 6-8 inches here, city didn't even plow...



Closest thing we got to seeing a plow was a tow truck who went to the end of our street.

I did the same, just drove out onto the road, as good as it is in snow, it sucks on ice, just ask the bushes I slid into tonight

I work in outside Framingham and we seem to have been blessed with jsut about as much snow as you guys were.

I took the oppoertunity to go out and test my Hakkapeliitta RSi tires on the unplowed roads at lunchtime, and it was a LOT of fun

That kind of snow is fun but dangerous and cars tent to float on the roads flaot right into other cars too.

It least you get snow and you can have fun and pelt people, in Scotland its just cold as smeg and we barely get any snow anymore, dam global warming.

Today we hit about 25-35 cm of Snow. A low number of cars on the street as i can see

Snow, What's that? Is that what that white stuff is in those photos? I can't remember having a decent snow storm since 1999. Had a rear wheel drive Ford Sierra in those days - and boy was it fun.

Herea a pic from the ice storm today it was about a half an inch thick. Our whole lots was like a skating rink and I only fell twice.

Last night in Northwest Connecticut was the first time I was ever beating by Mother Nature on the road. Worked till 11pm to update server software and on the way home it was terrible. 12.5 mile commute took 1.5 hours just to get to my town. Then it was all over from there...5 mph and felt like a 3500lb hockey puck. There was no way to stop and at any incline with my brakes on, I was gaining so much speed backwards that I had to cut the steering wheel to swing the front end around. Got about 3 miles from home and hiked the rest of the way. I feel so defeated

Its so unfair. You guys get all of the snow and nowadays we get zilch. We are told that you cause most of the global warming but we are the ones that suffer (no snow). I love the snow. We used to have proper snow when I was a kid.

It makes me smile to see cars buried in snow, its kind of fun and reminds me of my younger days, the best snow fall we ever had in Glasgow was in 1984-85, it was up to my nipples but i was only 4,5 foot at the time

I used to make snow mountains and jump out my close windows from the tenement housing, bloody stupid now i think about it but thats youth for you.

I am so jealous you get to drive in snow its a challenge and you can pretent your a rally driver at 5mph whith lots of wheel spin
