Scottish Rolling Road Day - 25th Feb

Hi folks,

Rescheduled date is 25th February. Location is Dastek in Dalgety Bay. ( www.dastek.co.uk ). day will start at approx 9am and run through to about 2pm (depending on the number of cars that turn up). I'm negotiating costs just now but I expect a special rate because of the previous cancellation. I need a minimum of 20 cars and a max of 30.

Its a honest RR test for engine output and we Saabers are not into go faster stripes and show like the Ricers and Corse boys, so if i get a bad result i will be please in that i will know what to do next, I am in the same boat as you

oh about four hundred and a bit

little fine tuning and the bit will be a bit more hopefully

over christmas the shiney bits will be getting longer and the slidey rubber bits will be smaller and I have sourced "superclamps" to hold the hoses on
(only £6 each....

)

I have the turbo to i/c tubes in shiney stainless to fit (friday) so should squeeze out a few more horseys

We should have re-built the 900 t16 by then with a nice new FMIC (we have had to ditch the ab**t chargecooler...it was leaking and fitted a new APC..
so we should get a nice baseline
unfortunately the 9005 is far from ready....

I don't know if i can make it, i need to get surgery done on my hand again on the 23th as they left something in there which is hitting my tendon changing gear is a bit iffy when my hand is all stiched up.

If i can drive i will be there if i can't drive safely i won't.

Sorry to hear that Shadow - hope it all works out OK. Where do you stay? It might be possible for you to cadge a lift over so that you can share the fun.

Just drive all the way in 2nd , that way you won't even need your hand!

You don't need your fingers for the dyno run either, well unless your arithamatic is'nt too good, but then i don't think you could use your fingers and toes to count upto 180!!
