Not sure if this should be in performance or the other forum, so sorry in advance.
I am curious to know if anyone has used molly slip (oil additive that is graphite based). I use it in my 1972 MGB, and it helps keep the engine a little cooler on hot days, and the engine is slightly quieter. Although it does not say anything against using it with a turbo engine, the last thing i want to do is damage anything. Cheers Added: Also, additives like Lucas Oil Additive. I am using Esso XD-3 0w40 diesel oil Last edited by ParaMedic_Saab; 03-11-05 at 09:41 PM. |

Check out www.bobistheoilguy.com for general and specific tests on Lucas Oil Additive.
I haven't heard of the Moly Slip stuff... There's a guy with 960,000 miles on his 89 SPG who uses 0w40 religiously. |
