Dumb question of the month...
On starting my '86 9000t16 the dash light for ABS comes on. Did Saab just install the same dash for all models (meaning all the lights appear) or does my car have ABS fitted? John.

The easiest thing is to brake real hard on gravel or something similar!
If it sounds like the whole car is going to fall apart and the brake pedal is rumbling then you have ABS !!!! IMPORTANT !!!! A word of advise to all of you who have ABS on your car! The most important thing when you panic brake with a car fitted with ABS system is to press the pedal as hard as you can! the ABS system works best with 40kg and more of pressure to the brake pedal! And that is probably as hard as you can press with one leg on the pedal! So go and practise on a gravel road! !!!! IMPORTANT !!!! Regards Magnus I |
