Are these clutches a PITA or is it me? I replaced the disc and pressure plate but can't bleed this thing to save my life. I tried the inner tube as well as a mightyvac on the bleeder nipple-both with no results. I've got to be missing something very simple-any ideas?? You won't offend me with no brainer 'have you's' since it has to be one of these.
Thanks..... |

In the last thread of the info sent by jezzadee (thanks), the last line states that if that doesn't work go back and tighten the loose pressure plate bolts.
Are they supposed to be loose when I'm bleeding the system? Mine are tightened up. Please tell me this my bonehead reason I can't bleed the clutch.... |

No, the pressure plate bolts don't have to be loose in order to bleed the clutch.
What exactly is the problem? Are you not getting flow of brake fluid through the clutch circuit? Or does the clutch pedal remain useless?
