Well not in a autozone fart cannon way but I recently decided to sell my 2001 Viggen and buy a new toy.






I'd just like to thank everyone who helped me out when my car had problems, I already miss that turbo rush.

The S2000 is a pocket rocket, most owners get tired of the Vtec rush because they get speeding tickets!

Solid engine and its a good car, i would buy one if i could afford it to be honest.

So how does it feel going from having enough torque to move the world to barely enough to turn a pepper grinder. I've never driven a S2000, but if it's even slightly like it is in GT4 I imagine it would be amazing to drive.

yes there is a slight (who am I kidding, you have to rev to 6k to get any usable power) torque deficiency, but there’s also something to be said about the beautiful F1-esque scream of the 9k redline. I love the technology and refinement that went into this car. And the transmission is Def faster than my old viggen to be sure, I guess it was just time to graduate to real wheel drive

i would take an S2k over my 01 HOT- they are FAST, vtec gets made fun of, but i bet the s2k could take a viggen even from a roll.....


i think it has a K20 engine which has such a big aftermarket. My freind has a RSX type R(yes, the one form japan) and that thing can eat my HOT....off the line and from a roll. the redline is something like 8 or 9 k which is just crazy

How is that any different from the rubo rush in an Aero or Viggen?

I have had to resort do never driving on highways without my cruise control engaged

You sure about that? All the statistics I have read place the Type R's just about neck in neck with a 9-5 Aero, a Viggen should be slightly faster on account of it being lighter...


The Vtech's get made fun of because they produce relatively low torque levels. This gets offset by them being able to take advantage of gearing by having such high redlines, and by the fact that most Hondas don't weigh the 3450lbs of my Aero. The gearing may also have something to do with it. Saabs tend to have pretty tall gearing compared to Hondas...

I don't see the problem here with the s2k. It's an awesome car and I wish (really bad) the aero had such a great gearbox.

Middle aged balding guy. He had his cell phone in a holster clipped to the visor. He pulled out the cell phone like 4 times at each stop light. Trying too hard to be too cool.

I think people are being brand queens. Eh, thats ok I wanted a car that puts a big grin on my face every time I drive it . Don't get me wrong, but saabs aren't sports cars.

I sat in RX-8 at my Saab dealership (they're becoming a Mazda) and was like "oooo this seat is nice, soooo much support" and I knew I shouldn't but I moved the stick. I moved like it all buttered up, why can't we have controls like that.
