Power steering noises

My power steering has always been a little noisey but as of today it started clicking when i turned the wheel,

i dont car as the steering was repaired and under warranty should i take it back?

Wouldn't hurt if it's under warranty.

If you're talking about the creaking - "they all do that sir"

Check the fluid and make sure the rack isn't leaking - even recon racks have been known to do it (my dad's 93 conv has had about 3 recons as his block paved drive can testify ).

na im talking more about hearing the power steering motor

like listening to the window washes

Turning the wheel? Clicking? Is that sationary or moving? Is that a CV joint? It could be if the car is moving.

both it was doing it while parking more

When I first started my 1990 900 turbo after installing a new headgasket, and putting everything together, I heard a strange buzzing noise from the power steering pump area.

When I turned the wheel I heard a horrible creaking/something noise.

I opened the cap of the power steering fluid reservoir, to notice that it is so low the pick-up tube is sucking air and the thing is frothing like a cappucino

Stop engine, pour in a goodly amount of GM Power Steering Fluid, start the car back up and no noise from the unit, and the steering sounds like it should (aka not sounding at all).

There was so much road-crud around the reservoir that I couldn't see the level of the fluid inside the reservoir, and that's why I didn't notice it before.
