OK so I just bought a 2003 9-3 Vector 2.0t, this is my first Saab, in the past I've owned VW GTI's an Audi A4 both of which had huge aftermarket support. After doing some web research I'm finding that there is not much out there for my new baby....am I wrong? Anyone who can point me in the right direction? It would be much appreciated.......Thanks

There are a couple places. Genuine Saab/Taliaferro carry the Nordic Tuning line of ECU upgrades(max stage 1 @ 245HP). Group 9 Performance carries the Maptun line of ECU upgrades(max stage 6 @ 305HP). Parts for Saabs carries the BSR line of ECU upgrades (max stage 1 @ 247HP). All are excellent, although I know of one person who melted a piston because of a lean condition not necessarily related to the BSR PPC (stage 3 IIRC).
All three retailers carry exhausts, etc. Last edited by Castor Troy; 09-09-05 at 11:36 PM. |
