Is it possible to have uneven wear going left to right in the front or is it supposed to be even when wearing thus both going out at same time?
Next question is: Since I did my pads through saab, there is a 1 year unlimited miles warranty on it, does that mean that it will be replaced if they wear out before 1 year? I've called like 4 different dealers including one I did work on who said if I bring it in it will be honored vs others that said only if it's a material defect or something of that nature? What gives? |

Could be that the caliper is partially seized. if this happens one pad will remain in constant contact with the disc and will consequently wear quicker than the other. If a caliper is working correctly, pads should wear around the same amount irrespective of whether they are an inner or outer mounted. or as you say it could be dodgy pads. IMO thats less likely.
