Default help,car revving by itself continuously
basically the car is revving from 1000-3000rpms continuously by itself over and over non stop. any clue to the problem? I reset the ecu but it still does it. do these cars have a TPS? could that be the problem?

Could be stuck throttle cable.

Check all the rubber connections on the intake manifold, one of my grommets popped out once and I had the same issue...air seeping in and reving by itself.

Check the cruise control cable, happened to a buddy of mine.

how could it be the throttle cable if it is reving? Wouldn't it be just straight up gas not revs?

yea it turned out to be the grommets causing the idle surge
