Sorry to make this comparison but as soon as I saw that picture this car came right to my mind...

I think there are alot of lines there that draw comparisons.

I really hope this isn't real. The whole picture looks like a photoshop to me. I think it really looks like a step backwards and looks nothing like the 9X concept and the 9-3X noses.

blah.

Can't somebody in Sweden check out that plate number? Should be able to tell by the model, year, and owner if it's real.

the legacy?

Yep it looks like that too.

I must say, that saab is a very weird looking car. The front is completely off beat with the rest of the car. I'll put money on it being a photoshop job or some weird disguise. I can't even imagine that being the real thing.

Absolutely, it reminds me too of Audi's new corporate 'goatie' face.

Its just a mess, the 9-5 was always a bit crisp and edgy - it just won't suit this more 'rounded' approach. But fear not, I remember seeing spy shots of the 9000 when it looked like the then Hyundai Pony!!!

Keep faith guys!

I am so sorry to say this....I never thought that I would say that in my live....but always there is a first time. This front grill is just rub***, I hope this will not be the real one, but looking at other pics it seems it is real, the center of the grill. THe lights are photoshop.

It reminds me the new Hyundai sonata, it is the same. I don't know who is taking care in the design in Sweden, Anthony Lo or Bryan Nesbitt, but if this is his job....pfffffffff

It may actually look like that, sethsev7n. The more I look at the spyshot, the more I see that the lights are probably covered with a camoflouge, and really there's more in common with the 9-X concept. Nice drawing, btw.

I wish its a more significant facelift given all the competitors have been redesigned, even S80 is going to get a huge one next year.

And well it might be, it'll be >10 years old by then - come on GM, this isn't much better thatn SAAB managed by themselves with eh 99/900!!

More than fresh faces are required to keep up and indeed lead the opposition!!

I wonder if it will be more like this... with outer grill parts right against the headlights. i think it needs the 3 hole grill to still have that Saab look.
