Default Smoking in the sun
Went out yesterday in the Vert with my daughter and had a bit of fun with a Merc 230 vert.....Man those cars are slooow. He pulled up at the lights and looked across and smiled ,i smiled back and moved into first gear he shifted his auto into drive and waited for amber.....Amber i release clutch and feather in the power he floors his and it leeps forward i move into second and boot it...Bye bye Merc. When i looked in the mirror he looked like a startled rabbit caught in headlights.....My daughter was laughing her head off. What 0 to 60 time do you think i am getting...It is a lpt with BSR stage 1?

i just checked the specs on that benz, it only has about 130 or so HP, not sure on the power/weight ratio, but i wouldn't be suprised if my n/a C900 could take it on... anyone have any idea?

What year was the merc? Was it a 230 SL?

I've taken out one of them too. Mercedes SLK 230 Kompressor. I was pushing fairly hard but was still surprised how far ahead I pulled. Not as surprised as he was though .

The best thing was he looked like a right smug Bas*ard...Youv'e got the picture wife with bleached blonde hair fake cocco channel sunglasses, him with fake ray bans and a short sleeved polo shirt on in "white". By the look on his face his wife had just farted or he was a little bit miffed at being smoked.....I bet he was on the Saab forcourt 1st thing monday morning
