Modifying GMSaab 900s Non-Turbo Auto

ops: Hi, Can anyone give me some tips on how best to start mofifying my car both performance and looks. Where should I start! - any comments will be well received. UK assistance would be especially welcome.

I also drive a non-turbo automatic saab a 97 though. As far as performance there isn't much for the non-turbo unfortunatly unless you spend big $$$ Suspension mods are good though. I havn't done any yet but i did just get in my SAS thicker rear anti-roll bar and i'll let you know how that goes. As far as appearance i've put in clear side marker lenses from Elkparts (Elkparts.com) which are only about $20, i bought a Saab 9-3 grille off ebay which fit perfectly into the slot for our grille, and i have 17" wheels and low profile tires. As far as some small but not too noticeable performance mods i have Magnecor 8.5mm Race Ignition wires, K&N air filter (though i'm looking for a intake for the non-turbo or make one of my own as i've been told its not too difficult) and i am planning on an exhaust hopefully.

I too have a 900 Auto but from 1998, so its one of the last registered. I want to lightly warm over my car ie. I want better pick-up on acceleration.

I have thought about an sports air filter and thats about it. Is there any benefit to this?

If any one has any ideas, please let me know.
