Mirror question, what do these fit?

Will these fit a 900t? I have heard they only fit the vert, but I've seen for the 9000 model too. Anybody know?

Those fit a 9000 .. period. Mirror glass is interchangeable with 900's and 9000's though.

I will be really sad if this is true, because guess what? I've aready bought a set. Off ebay of course, so they didn't cost that much. Which is why I decided to buy them.

But are you positive they only fit the 9000? The reason I'm wondering is father's 900t Convertable has them on it. One of his is chipped so if they don't fit my car I may just give them to him. No huge deal. I just bought them because they were different than the usual.

The top one looks like the mirrors on my 'vert, but the bottom one doesn't.

So, who knows? You could get lucky!

Ya got me. They do look somewhat different, they were just some generic pictures to illustrate the style. I didn't realize there were two types. The one on the bottom is the one I bought, I haven't gotten them yet though.

The auction claimed they were off of a 900 but it didn't specify vert or turbo etc. Maybe I will get lucky but I have a feeling they will either be going on my father's vert or back on ebay.

Top one is from a 900 Convertible, lower one is from a 9000.

Neither are a bolt-on fit for non-ragtop 900s.

If you have the one from a 9000, its mounting plate is different to that on the 'vert but the rest appears to be the same. I've one here that I plan to transplant onto my 'vert's mountplate since it got its shell cracked due to some expert manouvering on my part some time ago...
