Is there a partucular type to use.

DOT 4 or DOT5.1 if you drive it hard
When was it last completely changed anyway? And if the pads are low the level will normally be low (although not low enough to cause the light to come on - a small leak somewhere perhaps?). If the pads are low then when new ones are fitted, be careful as if the reservoir is overfull, pushing the pistons in will overflow it. And brake fluids eats paintwork... |
