has anyone ever chopped a saab?
chopping- cutting down the roof height
i've seen it on 1 or 2 saabs and it looks gorgeous so i'd like to look into it

Yes my car has a chopped top.


However all they did was stick a new roof on and keep everything the same height. I'm not sure how crash worthy it is now though, the guy said he took a sledgehammer and a plank of wood to the weld joins.

how much lower is it? how much was it and you got a pic?

yeah i have seen a few and they look great but like 93900s said height plays a factor why i won't be doing it i'm 6'5 and no can do with a lower roof.

well i'm 6'2 but i lean back a good amount plus the previous owner was 7 foot so the seat has been lowered a great amount

well that sounds interesting i would be interested also cuz it does look great it gives the saab a bit of a stealthy look like the batman car that sounds odd :-? but it is a cool added affect so let me know what u find out about it
