Default Pre-Selling Now!

Just heard a commercial on the radio today. My local dealer is now pre-selling.

Something else I found out, XM radio and 3 free years. Is that going on everywhere?

Hmm, cool. Think it'll draw in any more buyers? Is that 9-7x specific or on other GM models too?

Default 9.7x

That's for the 9.7X only. I think the 9.7X will do quite well. There is a lot of interest in the vehicle. I think the demand will outweigh the supply for the first model year. I heard only 2000 will be produced the first model year. Thats less than 10 per dealer and of course the smaller dealers will only get a fraction of that. I know my dealer has a list of about 30 interested customers and will be lucky if they get 3 or 4 9.7X's for the 2005 model year (May - Sept 05) 06 models will be out in Oct 05 and should be more plentiful. Also for the 06 model there will be more options (Nav) and colors.

Saw in in person at Saab of Santa Ana today. Got to sit in it, pretty much everything except drive it. They were promoting it yesterday and today. It was the blue color with a beige interior. It looks really good, pretty sleek, and the interior is pretty well constructed. And there were lots of people interested. They said in May it would be on sale.

Thank you, thank you. That's the best think I've heard on the 9-7X yet. I really hope this sells better than anyone expects, and everyone (even me) is proven wrong. Saab needs money to make me a supercar.

What did you think of the color? It is only available in three colors for the 05 model year, Black, Silver and the Blue/green that you saw. I've heard mixed reactions to it. Thanks

The blue is kind of a medium blue, and doesn't have the rich look of the Nocturne Blue on the other Saabs. It would probably look better with the black or silver/gray.
