What are the typical symptoms of ABS not working on a 9000?
Thanks - Simon. |

Sorry Simon, I didn't mean to be a smart ****
When I had agro with my ABS, (900, sometimes the ABS light wouldn't go out) it was a dodgy wheel sensor. |

9 times out of 10 its the wheel sensor and usually the front one's as the cable gets more abuse because its twisted when turning.
This usually means that the light may flicker when turning corners with large amounts of lock on. Its just a case of pulling the connector off in the bulkhead and getting a multimeter on there and checking the resistance - high = broken or spining the wheel with the meter on milivolts and looking for a signal voltage as the wheel goes round. Dont try to get them off a breakers car as they seize in the hub body, i know this Simon :! Pete. |
