i drive a 1987 saab 9000 turbo 5 spd thanks for any info, matt |

Matt, have you considered having your injectors professionally cleaned. They can work wonders with them these days, ultrasonically cleaning them and restoring their spray pattern should work out cheaper than a new set.

i did think about it, but i haven't looked into it too much yet. and i called bosch about the injectors, they said the ones i took out of my car are for a 900 turbo, not a 9000 turbo. and the other ones they said were for a porsche form the early to mid eighties. i figured "what the heck?" and put the porscche ones in just for fun, the saab ran about the same, so i dunno, maybe it isn't my injectors afterall. of course i could just buy a newer saab that didn't have anything wrong with it, but where is the fun in that?
i'll check aroun to find some place to clean my origional injectors. thanks for the tip. -matt |
