Default Good Trade? 1976 GMC truck for 9000T with bad trans.

I have been offered a 1992 Saab 9000 Turbo with a bad automatic tranny in trade for a running 1976 GMC truck. The car has 160K on it but seems to be in good shape otherwise. The question is, if the cost of replacing/repairing the transmission would make getting this car worth it? :-??

Would you trade your truck and any where from 1,200 to 2,000 dollars for it with a great transmission ..? If you would then Its worth it .. If not then I would not do it ...
