Oh goodness.

"The most prestigious and expensive automobile wheel in the world"-
Wow, didn't know that being the most 'expensive automobile wheel in the world' could possibly be a selling point.
"Solid gold screw"-
Do they throw in an armed guard for the life of the wheel? And if I were to be driving around with really expensive wheels, I don't think I'd choose gold (screws), the most maleable material in the world when in pure form, to keep my wheels on the car.

Peter: I'll take it!

Not to mention kerbing them... You'd be a bit cheesed off if you scraped one up...

You wouldn't have to worry about that because they'd be tucked into the wheel wells 99% of the time... thanks to your airbags or hydraulics.

I would think that's mostly just for show cars. No person in their right mind would drive a car with those on it farther than off a trailer. Additionally, if you can afford those, you can afford a bodyguard for them.

They still don't beat the ostrich skin covered ones I saw a while back.

Those are some nice wheels...if for some reason I came across the cash for them, I park my car at home in Yonkers, come outside 5 minutes later, my 900 would be sitting on milkcrates! (They already went for the SPG rims I got on the car now but were spooked by a passing car)

1. Buy cattleprod & flamethrower.
2. Set both up to create minor annoyance to any would-be wheel theives.
3. Bury bodies in backyard.
