Front passenger power seat problem

A colleague noticed the front passenger seat's seatback moving funny. I tried it myself and noticed only the left side of the seatback actually moves forward/backward, while the right side totally motionless. So for example if I forward the seatback rake, my body starts to turn towards the starboard side. If I reverse the seatback rake, my body eventually starts turning towards the port side. Must be an actuator or cable that's disabled. Anyone seen this happen in their car ?
