Default pics of my new Jetex exhaust
I had it installed yesterday.





I came over from the VW scene. Many guys had the Jetex exhaust on their Veedubs. They were are pleased with it. I never heard of BSR or Ferrita until I bought my SS. So I decided to buy what I know.

It has a 120mm x 70mm tip. The BSR one is 140mm x 70mm. It is just a bit louder then the SAAB sport exhaust I had on my car. I have noticed a little less turbo lag since I been driving it this morning. I have also noticed a performane increase when up shifting.

I still hear the turbo and intake over the exhaust. I also have the Jetex air filter.

I think this will be it for performance mods. I feel pretty good with the power I have. My ESP light comes on all the time in the rain, and it rains here nine months of the year.

Nice Chris! I also had installed Jetex on my wife's 900 and it has a low burble, definitely not loud but an improvement from stock. If I didn't install magnaflow's on my SS, I would seriously consider the Jetex.

how was the installation? was it a pure bolt-on? or there were some cutting done? This is a 2.5 inch exhaust, right?

Sorry, I don't know how to make a sound clip. The tech said he had to cut some of the pipe after the cat. Jetex incudes a sleeve to mate the two pipes.

It looks like it's not on straight, is it just the photos :-??

If your camera can take video clips, you could use that for sound.

I've never met a girl who'd know the difference between exhausts. Except maybe comments like "sounds like a tractor" :wink:
