The dome light in my '89 9000 cd is missing the glue or whatever holds it against the rear glass. At certain speeds it begins to make a rattling sound which is annoying. What could i use to fix this? i am not sure what to use.

Your dome light is attached to the rear glass? Can you post a pic?
If it's something that is clearly broken, try a hot glue gun. That works very well for my small repairs. |

Are you talking about the third brake light? May be a loose (or missing) screw. Perhaps some rubber washers may help. If not hot glue.

i dont think there is a screw missing.... There is only a gap between the glass and the 3rd cabin mounted brake light that is only a few millimeters wide so when i drive it started to make vibrating sound while it taps on the glass...hmm hot glue or rubber washer sounds good.. just woundering what did saab use to keep the dome light on the glass?
