Anybody added MP3 capability to their 9-3?

2001 9-3 sedan, single CD player at this moment. I've been thinking about getting something that can play MP3s, but nobody makes anything for the Saab. I just want to be able to put a CD in and play mp3s. And since Saab doesn't make stock players with MP3 capability, I was thinking about getting a 3rd-party changer with a remote. Anybody have any suggestions?

I'm also wondering if anybody has ever installed an MP3 player and connected the steering wheel controls to it? I would love to hear about it.

Of course, I want to also install a GPS navigation system but that's another story.

You could always use a portable MP3 player like the IPOD for example.

I stuffed an aftermarket CD MP3 reciever in the dash, they are so cheap now, the gap left by the 'not-quite-doubleDIN-size-slot' is taken up by a OEM pigeon hole.
