Hi all,
Is there is any of you out there that have done the '95 9000 front caliper changeover? ie. to a post '88 classic. I would like to ask if the original brake hose is completely comfortable afterwards? Is the arc of the hose compromised at all or improved? Does the hose strain under full lock etc.? Everything else about the task is straight forward enough but hose......... I'm a little curious. Cheers |

Previous posts on this topic in the archives do mention something about the brake hose.
Also look in the DIY section of the Twin Saabs site for more information on the brake upgrade. |

The regular brake hose can be used if the old bracket is modified for the new caliper. Otherwise, the hose is too short.
A 9000 brake hose will not fit your 900. The fittings are different going into the fender. A 2" longer brake hose would eliminate the need to using the bracket, but doesn't justify the cost. |
