This is a call for anyone in the Houston, TX Metro area who wants to form a Houston Saab group. 9-3s, 9-5s, Sonetts, 900s, 9000s. No descrimination here (even 9-2x owners are welcome  ). This is great opportunity to meet with other like minded entheusiests in the Houston area and exchange ideas and hang out. This will be in conjunction with an already existing European Auto Group (mostly VW owners, but there are some nice Audi and BMW guys as well).
If you are interested in this, post up or PM me and I'll send out an email at the beginning of next week. |

Shame. I used to live in Houston until last year. I'm there at the moment, but I can't wait to return to Oregon and my beautiful, beautiful C900. It's been sitting in the driveway for three weeks.

Unite? That should be easy if there's only one of you.
I drove to Houston last year and in 3 days there the only Saab I saw (out of more that 852 billion cars) was mine! Someone remarked that Texas must be the Lone Saab State. |

It truly seems that way. I lived in Texas for 16 years, and I am here visiting. I've can't remember ever seeing one except mine. Of course I didn't know what they were until a few years ago.

The thing is, I drive by at least 3 Saabs a day. They are all over the place here.
I even had one challenge me to a stop light race the other day (not that I would participate in such antics, but if I did he would have been beaten soundly being an SE Oh well. Guess I'll just have to hang out with those Bavarian Auto guys. |
