Is the stock Viggen Bypass valve comparable to aftermarket ones such as hyperboost or forge? Do the aftermarkets improve turbo response considerably over the stock viggen?
Finally do they produce a more audible noise? Thanks. |

No, it is not rebuildable or adjustable. Do the aftermarkets improve turbo response considerably over the stock viggen? Not that I can tell with my Forge BPV Finally do they produce a more audible noise? No, not a BPV a BOV is another story, but don't try one with a T7. |

Comparable? Performance increases? not really anything to gain from a BPV. If any increase, it is very small. The viggen BPV will work just fine. There is probably a more audible note out of the metal afterarket BPV's. Only difference is that the viggen BPV is a diaphragm and can has the possibility of needing replacement whereas the metal piston style is servicable and will last the life of your car.
