BBW was captioned to describe women of rubenesque shape and size in a complimentary manner. I have seen many women who are very attractive that aren't a size 4. Many cultures consider a full figured woman to be valued as a mate and a sign of wealth!!

I wasn't the one who captioned BBW and as far as stereotyping...I would rather hear the term BBW than
hear someone call another person a demeaning name.
I think BBW carries a sense of pride for many women who, despite their physical size, have grace, poise, and great innner and outer beauty!!!!!

Right. It's just that the term draws a lot of consternation from the male species, who generally pooh-pooh the idea that there's such a thing as a Big Beautiful Woman. Most men read that to mean one thing---obese. One article advises you to bring a defibrillator if a date describes herself as a BBW. But there is such a thing as a Big Beautiful Woman. I have seen quite a few. Just be fair, guys.
