Following a discussion with my local specialist, I think that my Aero may have been chipped. They are certain that it is not standard and they say that the APC has not been tweaked + there is no engine rev limiter. The APC stays near the red zone when booted & they say that the standard spec engine will back off the boast. This could account for the almost alarming acceleration in 2nd and 3rd!!

Is there any easy way, other than to visit a rolling road, to ascertain whether my car has been chipped? I don't really want to compromise my insurance by telling my broker that the car is standard when it is not.
