That was a good buy Mark, also this guy posting here is in need of an engine did the breaker have many Saabs in?

I would, but it was the previous generation of 9000's, I think the DI is one of the only things that I could have made use of as mine is a 1994.
Did have some V nice Blue Leather electric seats, but I really don't have the need for them.

Pickin' parts is fun!

My parts find brag: Last week I nabbed an engine, turbo, alternator, A/C compressor, PS pump, rear rotors and calipers, and fuel pump from a wrecked '82 900. All for $100. Hoping to rebuild that engine soon and will be scouring the archives for tips. Pics and progress can be found here.

Headed off to look at a complete '85 900T 16v in a couple of hours. Supposed to just need a clutch.

I won a SAAB99 on ebay for £31.

Highlight parts stripped.........

set of new sports lowering springs to fit 99 or 900
twin carb manifold / with carbs
newish exhaust system
2 new 4" JBL 2 way speakers (now in my 900)
brand new halfords battery
brand new starter motor
full set of new brake pads
4 inca alloy wheels with good rubber
brand new bosch coil (now on my 900)

erm....plus we stripped it all down to the shell..


Its handy that we are currently restoring a 99 at the moment isnt it jammy or what.
