Dear All
Hello. I am picking up a 2000 9-5 Aero estate on Saturday after my company run 2002 Impreza WRX goes back to the leasing firm. I'm sure the change in performance delivery and, most certainly, grip will take a bit of getting used to but I am looking forward to getting my hands on the keys to the Aero. Time to act my age, I think  In the future I may be interested in a sensible ecu remap (mainly to increase torque) but first on the shopping list is brakes. The independent Saab specialist I am buying the car from recommends Black Diamond brand. Does anyone have experience of these? Other suggestions would be most welcome. Good road manners are a prerequisite - no cold use problems and no squealing, please. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you all as time and miles go by. Tony |

Welcome to Saabcentral!
I'm afraid Black Diamond do not supply suitable front discs for the 9-5 Aero (16" brakes). I'm seriously thinking of getting Black Diamond Discs and predator pads fitted all round on my tuned 9-5 2.0 shortly after hearing from someone else how fantastic they are compared to the standard brake set up. I might go for some Goodridge hoses as well. http://www.partsforsaabs.com |
