So, everyone, what is the tranny in your 90/900/9000/S/SE/SS/CSE?

Curiuos to see which will win across the entire line of Saab.

I bet manual, but I have 2 autos.

An Auto by any other name is still an Auto.

I'm not a fan of the "granny tranny" and don't plan on having another one again. That said, the double clutch Audi one looks cool as do some of the CVTs out there.

Regardless of the time frame....43 votes...7 automatics???? We'd need a TON of auto folks to make a dent in that number.

Besides I but more have slushies, but are just too embarassed to admit it (not that a Saab stick is all that firm to begin with. I know I got the auto because the stick was so bad it just was not fun. :-? )

No its not, its an automatic hooked up to a manual override. Like BMW's Steptronic. BMW's SMG is an example of a manual tranny hooked to a computer clutch. Ferrari and Toyota ( ) have systems like the SMG too.

This man drives a manual if its worth driving, Saab currently does not have one like that. They should just buy them from Honda. Best manuals is the world. They just go snick snick snick, has to be the most satisfying feeling there is with a car.

Aisin supplies the M/T to Honda. Aisin also makes the A/T
for the 9-3. As for the 'snick'snick' action of a Honda stick
shift, if there is a M/T for girls or wimps that is the one.
E715, how bad can the tranny be in the 9-3 for you to reject it?
