I have a 2004 9-5 with (I believe) a reflective windscreen that hinders the satellite GPS signals.
However, I would like to use a PDA with integrated GPS receiver and navigation software and/or Snooper S4 safety camera detactor. Does anyone know if there is a way of connecting a re-radiating GPS antenna to the 'sharks fin' aerial on the roof which (I believe) terminates in the boot? I assume that there might also be a 12V supply in the boot and that the re-radiating antenna could be placed on the rear parcel shelf. Hopefully it would have enough range so that devices on the front dash could receive the signal. Any comments/advice would be welcome. |
