Hans Karlander named General Director Saab Global Aftersales

Hans Karlander has been appointed General Director Saab Global Aftersales at Saab Automobile AB, effective May 1, 2004. Hans will report to Peter Augustsson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Saab Automobile AB. On a functional basis Karlander will also report to Paul Copses, Executive Director GME Aftersales.
Hans Karlander began his career at Saab 1992 and has had several different positions within Sales and Marketing including Director Marketing and Sales at Saab Italia. He holds a Master's Degree in Engineering.

Hans succeeds Thomas Lindskog who has decided to start his own business.

"Thomas Lindskog has decided to leave his position as a leader of Saab Aftersales as well as Marketing Director GME Aftersales, to start his own business. Under Thomas’ leadership, Saab Aftersales has generated good results while at the same time a new integrated operational structure has been established within GM Europe.
