Default Dashboard warning lights

Hey Saabers,

I have spent the whole day scouring the web for answers but can't find exactly what I need. So I was driving home from work today (in the pouring rain) and while I was going slightly uphill turning to the right I got an alert ding and my brake, TCS, ABS, and central warning light came on. I immediately stopped on a flat spot and turn my car off and on again and they went away. About 5 miles later when I was nearing home I was turning right, downhill this time, and all the the same warning lights came back on. I parked it in the garage and let it sit for a a long time but the lights remain on and I don't overly want to drive it with all the brake lights warning. I did notice that the breaking felt kind of funny on the drive home.

Any ideas what my next steps are before I break down and take it to someone who I'm sure will charge me lots of money?

I did just replace the pads and rotors a couple of months ago and I checked the break fluid and it seemed to be fine.

Thanks all

It could either be the abs module or one of the abs rings at the wheels.

The module can be repaired (BBS Reman seem the best source) and you can drive the car with the module removed.

Have a look at the wheels and see if there is any damage or wear on the abs rings, should be easy to spot. Used rings can be fitted if necessary.

So I will need to pull all the wheel tonight and check behind them?

And no the speedometer didn't die along with the lights (atleast not that I noticed) but I will check tonight after work.

Thanks guys
