Default Why didn't Saab just up the ECU on the 2.0t to get 2.0T?

Just thinking about the PPC. It seems that the PPC gives the 2.0t almost as much power as the 2.0T. Why didn't Saab just alter the ECU settings to get the 2.0T rather than upgrade the internals and turbo. Its what they did with the 1.8t to get the 2.0t.

I'm just pondering as to whether the 2.0t can cope with 210hp without changes to the internals.

I'm still going to get it

If the 2.0t can't handle an increase in power to 210 we have some pretty pathetic engines.

If you can bolt on a supercharger or turbo kit to a NA car and have increases of 80+hp with no problem, I believe our 9-3's should be fine with the PPC upgrade.
