I think it's more like: I see you approaching feel free to pass? I believe it's actually the right turnsignal to tell them to pass you on the left.

That's pure gold thanks for sharing!

Wondering what mods you have, surely some suspension? Haven't taken mine to the track yet (coming this August, can't wait) but feels like mine would wallow much more... I do have the 2.0T with base suspension though.

watching lap 3 a second time I have come to realize I would need to pit every couple of laps for a fresh set of diapers.

It is polite to signal so they know you have seen them and they can pass safely without you turning onto them, like the fellow in the Suzuki Swift rental does to me in one of the videos. But yes, overtaking there is only allowed on the left.

Car is completely stock. But since it is an Aero, it has the sports suspension and it kinda comes together on the track. There is an outside picture of my car at the ring in another thread cornering hard with one wheel almost off the track. Go look at it and you get an idea of how nice the suspension setup is. I can say I had no complaints and felt confident to throw it around the bends.

Now the Conti tires... that is another story. They were crap.

Wow ok, much flatter than my old '99 9-3SE, and this was with the stiffer rear GS antiroll bar (on top of the stiffer SE springs and front arb).

Back on topic: try Michelin Pilot Super Sports, great for me so far.

Man... there is a story with my last tires purchase that I don't want to go into right now, but... at some point I was offered a great deal on those Michelin Super Sports, although, of course, a bit more expensive than the Contis. How I regret now not having taken it...

When watching that video you had speed in MPH, RPM, and throttle position in video. I know you went faster then 112 MPH through the fast section? When I saw 180 MPH it made me wonder if the governor had been removed or the program was misrepresenting you actual speed.

Nope - watch more closely the vid has kph. But the fast section doesn't have much room to go proper fast. Driving on the Autobahn, I hit the speed limiter at 250kmh, which is 155mph and it was confirmed GPS speed.

Maptune is in the plans, but... after breaks, coils and spark plugs and maybe clutch and engine mounts. Oh, and new tires!

After I read this list, I think I will never actually get to this Maptune
