Talking Buying a SAAB again. Help!

I sold my NG900SE more than a few years ago and am in the market for another 900 or 9-3. Obviously turbo and clutch. I would like to do mild tuning to it. My former car had an MBC but I will most likely go with jsw tune if possible this time. I would like to stick close to $3000 and I have seen some cars that will get me started.

T5 or T7? Looks like the T5 would be cheaper to mod, but I like the big bumpers...

What should I be looking for? How do I tell a LPT car from HOT? What common problems should I be lookling for?

Cheers!
