I put about $6,000 into my 93 900S convert this past fall. I was willing to ask for about half of that but is selling for parts a better way to go? I've never done this before.
The down side is that I will have a heap in my driveway for some time and have many more transactions to contend with. |

Unless you have the time to strip it along with the time to deal with many transactions...and don't value your time too much
If I had a willing buyer for the whole thing I think I'd probably take the money and move on to the next project.

Nothing...I was in between jobs, always had a company car, planned for the worse, have a new job and car. So I am selling it...not enough room in the driveway either.
...nothing...well, the clutch master failed so that and the slave/clutch will be replaced too. It runs fine. |

Well don't part it out then. You'll never realize $3000 in parts without an insane amount of effort and patience.

Keep it; the 2.1 NA is a great car to drive. You got kids? keep it for one of them...
I would just keep it. pull the motor and give the car a proper resto!

If I can't get at least $3,000.00 then I will keep it...the entire suspension has been replace, New rotors pads lines and two new rear caliper, new cooling system, new rack hoses and pump, new inner and outer tie rods, new front wheel bearings, new inner drivers and CV joints, new shocks replaced many electrical components in the engine bay, new engine mounts...this list goes on. Oh, a.nd soon the slave, clutch and master will be replaced
It ain't perfect; no ABS and it stops fine...no AC...take the top down...to big holes under each seat...that bothers me... |

you'll need something to wrench on the weekends. Might as well do the interior and whatever else you haven't gotten to. No need to rush either. My wife has the Turbo (once I get the engine sorted) I am very comfy in my NA I too own a 92 NA hatch. I love it to bits!
