Default 97 saab 900 s 2.3L inline electric fuel pump?

If I put an electric inline fuel pump on my car that is 60 PSI will the fuel pressure regulator do its job and not cause harm to my injectors?

I think the simple answer here is yes, it should. But the more pressing issue is the question of why would you do this? If you suspect that your in-tank fuel pump is failing an inline pump will only patch the problem.

I would be more interested in how you are going to connect the external fuel pump to that tiny brittle plastic hose that Saab uses... Ron
