New England SAAB run - May 19, 2012

Tried to reshuffle priorities and clear up the 15th but no can do.

FYI: Some of the NE "usual suspects" are driving our Saabs up to Ludlow Verment this Sunday (7/8/12) to watch the Okemo Mountian Hillclimb. Mainly to cheer on the "Trionic Brothers" Pascal and Marcel in their Charles River Saab C900. It's a two day event and I think each car gets two runs each day so we plan to head up ASAP on Sunday AM.

Any more info on this event? Okemo is not far from here and I'd love to go and snap some photos

Bump, I would really like to see more than a handful of cars for this... if it's too small a turnout I'm not sure I want to justify the day for it. I'd be excited for another cruise, but at the same time I've got lots of other projects to do too!

That is my car indeed! I just picked it up from the guy in Nashua back in mid April. Steve is going over a few things from the front brakes, diagnosing a low boost issue, swapping in some SPG springs and slapping on some new tires. Me and the wife would probably like a SAAB tour. We can use either one of our SAAB Convertibles, a 1997 5 speed bright yellow Taladega convertible or the slush box 2002 bright red convertible.

He's on Commercial Drive in Berwick, right on rt 9. He does great work and is extremely reasonable. Only knocks are that sometimes he's really busy so might take a week to get to you, and he's not great at answering the phone/returning calls, at least for me, but he knows me well and that I normally am just bugging him with stupid questions

I'm throwing the towel in on the run part II for this Sunday, July 15th... not a lot of interest so far and I've got plenty of stuff to keep me busy. I can use the day to get work done on the 85 and hopefully will have it all setup and good to go by Swedish Car Day! Looking forward to meeting more new people and definitely a nice convoy down.

Where you guys could pick up the convoy depends on what route we take down...I am thinking that we take this route ( http://goo.gl/maps/3bJP ) so that it would be easier for people from MA to meet up with us...maybe on 95?
