I am literally in-between this and carlisle, same time each way. I'll think about it if I can get my car all nice and running right.

Wow, great to hear, but I will be honest and admit I doubt my cruise will live up to the level of an event like Carlisle. However, if you are looking for something a bit more low key than being at a HUGE car show with probably 1000 or so cars and tons of vendors, my cruise should be pretty casual and a great event to meet some people and go for a nice scenic drive around a beautiful part of NH!

I did a pre-run today, and I'm pretty excited about the route! A few small tweaks will have to be made due to some poor road conditions, but most of it looks all good!

I'll be attempting a "roll call" over the next couple of days to try and figure out numbers. Hopefully you all can make it and the weather is decent.

extended forecast looks great for Saturday! Upper 70's and SUNNY, I guess I can scratch umbrella's and rain gear from the "stuff you should all pack" list. Instead it will be sunscreen and bug spray (there is 1 stop planned where the bugs may be a factor).

Anyhow, let's get some excitement going people, this is going to be a kickass time!

had my saab for a year now and i didnt get to the Six Gaps. this might be my chance to a cruise. Being way up in NH makes it hard to get to the more "southern" cruise locations... maybe can go...gotta get the wifes aproval (her grad party that evening) maybe do both?...hmmm.

If you are in NH you definitely have got to make it! I think we should be done by 2:00-2:30, then if people want we can go out for a late lunch and maybe a beer. That should leave you plenty of time for a grad party in the evening!

sounds interesting, is the rally point in the post office parking lot? also, will lunch be available to purchase at the scenic area or are you suggesting we pack something?

Not the post office, but directly across the street. That was just the easiest thing to punch into google maps. If coming from the highway you can't miss it. It'll be just about 1/4 mile on your right, a large building with a bright red roof. There is a gas station (also with a red roof) that more or less shares the same lot. This is where I recommend people fuel up that need to, as the Irving and I believe the Mobil both sell 91 octane as their premium, while the station with the red roof sells 93.

And I'm glad you brought up the lunch thing... I had planned on having a lunch stop, but the place I was hoping to hit up doesn't open until memorial day weekend. So, I figure people can pack snacks, and even a lunch if they want, or if they can hold out until the end, I'm planning on doing an "apres cruise" lunch just up the street from the rally point. By my estimates the cruise should be done by 2:00-2:30, so it wouldn't be a ridiculously late lunch. If people are really hungry on the cruise there will be time for them to run out and grab a bite.

Hope to see ya there!

The route looks... pleasant. I've been up that way a few times (have friends in Ossipee, spandex capital of the world... shudder) and the roads are smooth and twisty. Looking forward to it!

Edit: Why not make this a Poker run? You have a perfect five stops.
