I have an abundance on oil reside on my TB, underneath the manifold and where the intake mounts to the intercooler hose (02 Aero 120K). I have PCV #6 and a plethora of new parts and hoses (meaning it ain't my oil pressure switch

start with checking the pcv valve from the valve cover to TB.
also have someone drive the car and accelerate hard and see if you notice any smoke then. Mostly when they first start to go they can idle all day with no smoke but will have a little puff driving hard |

You can always drop the DP and feel for movement on the shaft. When my original turbo was on its way out I was getting no smoke at idle, but consuming oil, and on the highway if I would drop a gear and romp on it I would get a big "****" out the back. Sure enough, had a good bit of play in the shaft.
Sounds like it's 18t time :-D |

here's a weird one. After my wife drives the car and I start it next I get a good puff of smoke out the back. However, if its just me driving the car all day this never happens. WTF?
