Default Tune near pittsburgh

I just got a response from GS and they said id have to go to the shop to have my car tuned, being it a 14 hour drive from me i doubt it'll get done soon. Does anyone know a tuner near Pittsburgh, PA. I'm willing to drive a few hours but since i work over 90 hours a week spending 28 hours driving isn't plausible at this point in time. My other option is trying to tune it myself but i cant seem to figure out exactly where to get the piece that connects the ECU with the computer so if i could get any help finding that it'd be appreciated.

Here's the makers of the canusb connector:

There are also US suppliers, but I don't have the link. Someone else might. Also, T5 & T7 Suite have preset Stages that you can pick from, so it's not that difficult.

If you want a stage 1 tune, you can order one for your car from GS for $100.

If you want a more custom tune, contact JZW or rabbit who post here.

If you're into DIY, get T7 suite and go the manual route.

Definitely recommend Rabbit. Got my 1997 dega tuned by him. Quality work, and the best part, it was only $100!

Assuming you need your car to get to work it sounds like you can't have much down time. Your best bet would be to pick up an ECU and send it to one of the tuners mentioned above, otherwise you wont have a car for afew days. Or T5 suite

I think i might go the route of tuning it myself, i read through some of the T5suite and seems like it could be fun. Once i buy the canusb adapter do i have to solder something onto my ECU? and if something does have to be soldered on is there someone that would be doing it for me? Im really bad at soldering and i dont think its a good idea for me to try it. Not on my original ECU i will be buying another one for this.
